makesourdoughbread.com is a free educational resource about sourdough baking. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. The short version: not much.
We use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand how people use the site -- which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where they drop off. This helps us figure out what content is useful and what needs work.
Both tools collect anonymized usage data. We don't track individual users across sessions, and we don't build user profiles.
We don't collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily send it to us (for example, by emailing us). We don't have user accounts, login forms, or newsletter signups.
We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking. Our analytics tools may set functional cookies to distinguish between page views, but these aren't used to identify you personally or follow you around the internet.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of their hosting infrastructure. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
If we make meaningful changes to how we handle data, we'll update this page. Nothing dramatic is planned -- we like keeping things simple.
